Last year’s show

We had an amazing turnout last year and are expecting even more people and Mustangs this time around. If you haven’t made it out to one of our shows yet, check out all the photos and video from the 2012 AmericanMuscle Car Show and we guarantee you won’t want to miss this year’s action.

This year’s charity

The AmericanMuscle Mustang Car Show is a way to say “thank you” to everyone who supports the Mustang culture. Sometimes it gets forgotten in the day-to-day ramblings, but we’re people too–mothers, fathers, neighbors and Mustang enthusiasts who are all part of the same community. Each year, we pick a charity fighting for a cause we believe in–this year we chose Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Cancer sucks, and we believe that together we can make a difference in a child’s life. Support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, get involved and and help us in the fight against childhood cancer.

The car show and trophy classes

The AmericanMuscle car show features a wide variety of the rarest and most desirable Mustangs in the world. Walk around long enough and you’re bound to see a Mustang you’ve never seen before. This year, we’ll be splitting the show into 7 different classes, all with two trophies awarded for a total of 14 awards up for grabs, plus one for Best of Show.

We hope to see all of you this August! Mark your calendars, synchronize those watches and don’t forget to register for the show!

Hear the 2015 Mustang’s V8 as it Tears Away From the Paparazzi

What you’re looking at here is another 2015 Mustang prototype cruising around Detroit. Spotting the new Mustang in the wild hasn’t been a difficult task lately, but what sets this new video footage apart is the glorious rumble of its V8.

Wary Mustang enthusiasts rejoice, the 2015 Mustang indeed will have a heart-warming V8 under its hood come 2015. Ford has been actively testing the new Mustang, probably fine-tuning the design for release at the 2014 NY Auto Show and fortunately for us, there’s been plenty of spy photographers capturing the action. Here we see a couple guys out testing an S550 mule that have a hunger for the go pedal, aggressively revving the V8 from a quite rumble up to the soothing growl we’ve come to expect from a Ford Mustang.

I must say, that’s a mighty fine sounding V8–definitely something worthy of the Mustang’s platform.

Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time

Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.

Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.

Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
