Dan Installs Raxiom’s GPS Navigation in His 2011 GT

Those following Dan’s 2011 Mustang GT build know how excited he was to break into the 11′s using only basic bolt-ons. Well, I can tell you firsthand he was equally excited to be working with Raxiom on installing their new GPS unit in his GT. And for good reason, too. Since the install, Dan has been using his new navigation system every day. He’s not using it just for routine travel info either–Dan gets updates on traffic patterns, accidents up ahead and most importantly for Dan and his iron-weighted right foot, updates on where those pesky red light cameras and speed traps are located.

After passing on the optional $2300+ navigation unit from the factory, Dan couldn’t be happier with his Raxiom Navigation.

This Nav is absolutely perfect! The fitment is great, very simple install and … It also comes with a back up camera and a new antenna, which work perfectly

For those worried about fitment and how the final install looks:

This item looks 100% factory and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great navigation

This is the perfect upgrade for anyone wanting a more tech-savvy 2010-2014 Mustang without shelling out huge amounts of cash or dealing with a sloppy installation process.

Video: 2015 Mustang 3D Walkaround Highlights New Design

2015 Ford Mustang 3D Rendering

A 3D rendering by the gifted artist Chazcron gives us a quick look at the 2015 Ford Mustang in its full glory. Based on the latest 2015 spy photos and video, these 3D renderings offer a scalable look at what might be under the cover. While the rear will need some fleshing out as we haven’t gotten a good peak at the back of a 2015 as of yet, the rest of the car has been rendered based on some pretty revealing front end photos, as well as side shots that show a bit of the camo peeled back.

Still not a fan of the Mustang’s 50th anniversary redesign? Don’t panic just yet. While the 2015′s front end has been all but unmasked and we’ve got the weight and dimensions, the look of the rear continues to be  one of Ford’s well-guarded secrets. We’ve got little to go off of and besides the claims of a few people saying they have seen the 2015 Mustang, the artist had to give the car’s rear his best guess. It should go without saying, but with the final look likely set at this point, many Mustang enthusiasts believe now is the time to take the covers off and let the public make their decision on the car’s new design and styling.

Europe’s most-wanted classic car is… the Ford Mustang?

1964 Ford Mustang

Over the span of its 49 years and five generations, the Ford Mustang has held a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts in the US, but, as it turns out, this car is also very popular amongst European car lovers. Earlier this summer, AutoScout24 - a new and used car shopping site in Europe - polled around 75,000 European "car lovers" (not sure how they vetted the respondents) to see which cars were the most popular, and the Mustang came out on top over iconic European classics like the BMW M1 and Volkswagen Beetle.

In the whole of Europe, 37 percent of those polled dream of owning a Mustang, but that number jumps in individual countries like Austria (42 percent) and Spain (41 percent). Rounding out the top five popular classics in Europe are the Mini and Citroën 2CV. Find out which cars made up the rest of the top 10 in the press release posted below.
